The creators of HD-DVD, Toshiba, have officially pulled out of the “Next-Generation” DVD format war leaving Blu-Ray (created by Sony) as the winner.

DTS Digital Entertainment have released their DTS-HD Master Audio for the Sony PlayStation3 (available via software upgrade).

Panasonic are set to release a new range of TV’s from June including 37” LCD and 46” Plasma models. They have also announced they will be releasing a Blu-Ray/DVD Recorder.
